There are only a few hours left for the entire coast in the Valencian Community to celebrate the night of San Juan on the beach.
Throughout the entire province of Castellón, this magical night is celebrated that practically gives rise to the beginning of summer (along with the solstice on June 21).
No matter which town you are in, grab your swimsuit and towel and get ready to experience the magic of San Juan in Castellón from north to south:
VINARÓS, FIRA AND FESTIVALS
Verbenas and concerts will fill the program of the Fira i Festes de Sant Joan i Sant Pere (from June 22 to July 2).
Unrestricted access to the beach is allowed, as is bathing. what years ago It is not allowed is the lighting of bonfires in the sand.
BENICARLO, GASTRONOMY
Like their neighbors, the Benicarlandos/as (as their adjective indicates), will be able to dine on the beach and bathe at the end of the day, but not light bonfires on the beach.
In Benicarló, this celebration precedes the "San Juan Marinero 2023" gastronomic products fair, held on June 24 and which includes boat trips for its visitors throughout the day.

PEÑÍSCOLA, HABANERAS
The Peñíscola town hall will light a bonfire on the south beach, where the lighting of fireworks and a habanera song will also take place.
Enjoy this celebration at the foot of a castle that has seen the passing of more than 700 years. It was built by the Templars and used by two popes as pontifical headquarters (Benedict XIII and Clement VIII).
ALCOSSEBRE TO THE RHYTHM OF BATUCADA
The night of San Juan will begin in Alcossebre at 7:30 p.m. with the animation of the Batucada Esmuvi in the Vistalegre square in the center of the municipality. This batucada will move to the Puerto Deportivo las Fuentes, next to the beach that receives the same name.
Here there will also be a fire show and the traditional burning of the bonfires at midnight.

RIBERA DE CABANES, IN FAMILY
The Cabanes town hall will hand out tables and chairs at 9:00 p.m. on Torre de la Sal Beach and each group of neighbors take their dinner down to the beach to meet with family and friends.
At 12 at night, there will be a performance by the group Adrenalina and later the mobile disco group The End.
On Saturday the exhibition of the Azahar Sincro Swimming Club will take place in the pool of La Ribera.

OROPESA DEL MAR, FROM MORRO DE GOS TO MARINA D'OR
The Oropesa del Mar town hall has prepared several activities in Plaza Mallorca, next to Morro de Gos beach.
At 9:30 p.m. the traditional “Coca de Sant Joan” and muscatel wine will be distributed.
At 11:00 p.m., the correfocs will run along the promenade and at midnight, the burning of the San Juan bonfires will take place and the Fauna discomobile will begin.
Oropesa del Mar, either from the Ciudad Jardín Buildings or from Marina d'Or, it is the best place to celebrate the arrival of summer.
The celebration of San Juan will also extend throughout the municipality and from Les Amplaries beach to Torre de la Sal beach.

BENICASIM AND ITS BEACHES
The town has prepared a night full of activities along its beaches.
At 9:30 p.m. there will be a batucada on Heliópolis beach, which will run along the promenade. There will also be a mobile disco next to the Eurosol tourist office.
At Torre de San Vicent beach, at 10:00 p.m. there will be a parade and regional dances, as well as fireworks at midnight.

CASTELLÓN, GRAO FESTIVITIES

The provincial capital also celebrates San Juan in style on its Grao de Castellón beach, where this date also coincides with the start of the Saint pedro parties.
From Playa del Pinar to Playa del Gurugú, friends and family gather around bonfires in the sand to celebrate the start of summer.
At 7:00 p.m. the town hall bonfire will be planted in the Plaza del Casal Jove, the same time that there will be a parade through the streets of Grao.
At 8:00 p.m., there will be the mascletá that begins the San Pedro festivities and a performance by the groups PASCUMEN and BLASCKPOP in La Pacheca.
At 8:30 p.m., the extraordinary concert "EL GRAU A LA MAR" will begin, in honor of San Pedro, the 75th anniversary of the Parish Church of San Pedro by the Polyphonic Choir "Sant Pere del Grau de Castelló" at the Cultural Center The marine.
At 11:00 p.m., the Macro festival dance “GRAU FEST” will begin on Trabajadores del Mar street.
There will also be a costume parade and concerts in the Plaza de la Panderola.
Fireworks at midnight with the traditional jumping of the waves and music until well into the morning.
