International Day of Women, Investment and Empowerment.

International Women's Day is a very important date that celebrates the fight for equal rights and opportunities between men and women.

On this day, the importance of unity and solidarity in the search for equality is recognized and reflection is made on the progress that has been made and the challenges that still remain to be faced.

Buying a property on the beach it can be a significant investment for women, especially in a year where many have had to work from home and may be looking for an escape.

Having an apartment on the beach can be a way of investing in quality of life, providing a space to relax and enjoy a well-deserved vacation or weekend.

Furthermore, a property on the beach can become a gathering place for family and friends, which is particularly significant on a day like International Women's Day, where unity and solidarity are celebrated.

But the purchase of a property on the beach is not only an investment in quality of life and social relationships, but also an additional source of income, renting this property in periods when it is not being used by its owner.

MORE OWNERS

In recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of women homeowners in Spain. According to a study carried out by the National Statistics Institute (INE), 27.3% of Spanish households are owned by women. This represents a significant increase compared to the previous decade, where only 22.8% of households were owned by women.

Compared to other countries, Spain is in line with the global trend. According to a World Bank report, 29% of households worldwide are owned by women.

However, there are some notable differences between developed and developing countries. In countries such as Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, more than 30% of households are owned by women.

In contrast, in countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, the number of women homeowners is very low, with less than 10% of households being owned by women.

So what has fueled the rise in female homeowners in Spain?

According to experts, there are several reasons.

  • First, the increase in gender equality has allowed more women to access well-paid jobs and, therefore, have more financial capacity to buy a home.
  • Second, the increase in laws protecting women in the realm of property has increased women's confidence to invest in a home.
  • Third, the increase in government and private programs that offer affordable home loans has made it easier for women to buy a home.

MORE WOMEN IN THE LABOR MARKET

Currently, women have been gaining ground in different areas, including the labor market.

However, there are still inequalities in terms of women's participation in the labor market, as well as in their remuneration and access to management positions.

At Inseryal by Marina d'Or, we feel very proud to have an inclusive and gender-equal team, which has colleagues who have been on the staff for more than 20 years and give this company wheels.

For all of them,
